Describe delivery and maintenance together
Give the rental contact the site address, authorised entrance, ground conditions and receiving person. Review equipment, supplies, cleaning and collection in the same proposal. A small cabin footprint does not settle the access space needed by the delivery or service vehicle.
Handle changes before access disappears
Tell the business about a revised gate, blocked driveway or new work phase. Ask how extensions and extra visits are arranged. Keep the on-site contact informed of the accepted changes rather than assuming a note on a contractor schedule automatically updates the rental.
Leave the service approach out of the storage plan
Allocate materials and waste containers without assuming the sanitation approach can double as spare storage. Tell the site contact which route the provider has accepted and who should report a blockage. Review the agreed visit arrangements when the build programme changes; access for the delivery truck once does not establish access for all subsequent servicing and removal.
- Standing and vehicle approach kept distinct
- Named person monitoring obstructions
- Visit arrangements revisited as work changes
