Look beyond an unused patch of ground
For an accessible unit, describe the route from the activity area and the surface outside the door. Request model details and review the usable space with the organiser. A convenient spare corner may not provide a suitable approach for the people who need the facility.
Keep washing and movement connected
Discuss reachable washing and who will prevent stored equipment or chairs from blocking the entrance. Confirm the surrounding layout separately from the cabin selection. A rental category does not certify an entire site’s accessibility or replace the organiser’s applicable responsibilities.
Check the journey after other equipment arrives
Review the approach with the person responsible for the property layout. A route approved before seating, fencing or work materials arrive may no longer offer the same access afterwards. Discuss the actual model, surrounding space and washing location together. Ask the responsible parties to resolve the changed layout; the equipment label alone cannot establish that the whole site meets accessibility requirements.
